How Studio 96 handles information about you. In force from [[POLICY_DATE]].
Who we are
Studio 96 (STUDIO96) is a barbershop at 22 Market Street, Kettering, NN16 0AH. For anything on this page, contact us on [[PHONE]] or at [[EMAIL]]. We are the data controller for the information described here.
What this website collects
Nothing. This site has no contact form, no newsletter signup, no login and no analytics or advertising cookies of its own. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not sell or share anything, because we do not hold anything.
Two things on the page are loaded from other companies, and they will see your IP address and browser as part of serving you:
- Google Fonts serves the two typefaces.
- Google Maps serves the map on the Visit section, and may set its own cookies once it loads.
Both are governed by Google's own privacy policy rather than this one.
Booking
Every booking button sends you to Booksy, a separate company that runs our calendar. Anything you type there — name, phone number, email, appointment history — is held by Booksy under their privacy policy and shared with us so we know who is coming in. We use it to run your appointment, to contact you about it, and to keep basic records of past visits. We do not use it for marketing unless you have asked us to.
In the shop
If you pay by card, your payment is handled by our card provider; we never see or store your full card number. [[CCTV_NOTE: delete this sentence if there is no CCTV, or replace it with where the cameras are, why they are there and how long footage is kept.]]
How long we keep things
Booking records are kept while you are a customer and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted. Records we have to keep for tax purposes are kept for six years, as the law requires.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Ask on the phone number or email above and we will respond within one month. For anything held in Booksy, you can also go to Booksy directly.
If you think we have handled your information badly, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
